Banner/BearPAWS became available at approximately 1:40pm this afternoon.
Banner and BearPAWS are currently unavailable. Technicians are working on the problem and expect to have back up shortly.
Due to a backend system fault the system servicing Windows Domain logins and associated services (printing, VPN, etc) will be momentarily unavailable. These services should be once again available by the next hour.
At this time it is believed that the Moodle load issues from earlier this week are resolved. If you encounter performance problems, please report them to the Helpdesk.
Tonight at 23:00 Moodle will be unavailable for a brief period of time to allow for a backend system configuration change in an attempt to tune Moodle performance.
Moodle is experiencing periods of slowness during heavy use. Measures have already been taken to increase capacity, and there have been some slight gains. We are monitoring things closely and are working to improve the situation.
BearPAWS/Banner are now available.
A system safeguard has temporarily disabled access to BearPAWS/Banner to protect data integrity. Engineers are aware of the situation and are working towards a resolution. No estimated timeframe to resolution is available at this time.
