BearDeN is back in operation again. All issues have been resolved.

Our Internet Service Provider has scheduled a maintenance window for 1/19/11 12:00am-6:00am, during which fiber optic repair work will impact connectivity to Internet2 sites. Interruption of service is expected to last less than 1 hour.

The maintenance window has closed and all SUNYNet services should be available.

Tomorrow morning 1/18 at 6AM, SUNYNet connectivity may experience interruptions as maintenance is performed on border equipment.

We are continuing to work on the BearDeN problem, including working with DegreeWorks. Progress is slow.

Fiber maintenance is complete and all network segments are back online.

Various network segments, mainly on the Student Union side of campus, may see brief outages as core network equipment undergoes maintenance this morning.

BearDeN is currently unavailable due to technical problems. More updates will follow on Monday morning.

SUNYNet connectivity issues appear to be fully resolved at this time.

Technicians are working with SUNYNet to resolve intermittent connectivity issues to various SUNYNet services.
