Status Updater

We are currently experiencing issues with Helios. Technicians are aware and working on finding a resolution.

Production Banner/BearPAWs will be taken down at 4:30pm today (Monday, August 3rd 2015) for some critical maintenance. Production systems may be unavailable during this time, so you should plan accordingly. We do not expect the maintenance window to last more than an hour. Additional information will be communicated if necessary.

Maintenance of the main web site’s server is complete. Service has been restored, and the web site appears to be working smoothly. As always, please report any issues to the Helpdesk at extension 4444, or helpdesk@potsdam.edu. Thank you for your patience.

The campus’ main web server has been up all afternoon, but is running in a degraded state. It will be proactively taken offline this evening at 7:00 for controlled maintenance. A posting will be made when maintenance is complete. Other web-based services may continue to be available during this time. Your continued patience is appreciated.

The campus’ main web server is back online and responsive. CTS continues to monitor it closely.

The campus’ main web server (www.potsdam.edu) is experiencing some difficulty rendering it extremely slow or non-responsive. CTS continues to investigate.

Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN is back up and has been tested after the upgrade to the Banner database to Oracle 12c. If you notice any problems, please submit an RT Ticket as soon as possible.
