As part of our ongoing infrastructure upgrade, CTS will be replacing old hardware at the edge of our network today. All campus hosted services and internet connectivity (Wired and Wireless) will remain available except for localized areas while work is being conducted. Approximate schedule follows: – Schuette: 9am – 11am – Bishop Hall: 11am – 1pm -All of Raymond Hall 5pm-12am Internet connectivity to and from the campus will be down during 5pm-12am.
CTS has completed replacing old hardware at the edge of our network in Sisson Hall, Timerman Hall and Stowell Hall. All campus hosted services and internet connectivity, wired and wireless have been restored. If your services have not been restored please email helpdesk@potsdam.edu or call 267-4444. Thank you.

The Blade Server has been rebooted. SOGo, DNS, Printing, and the College Website are now working. If you have any issues with thses services please contact the Helpdesk at x4444. Thank you!
One of our blade servers that houses SOGo, DNS, Printing, and our College Website is currently experiencing issues. Access to these services will be down. This will most likely affect all users trying to log into campus-owned computers. Technicians are aware and working on the issue.
The college web site at www.potsdam.edu is experiencing problems and currently unavailable. CTS staff are looking into the problem.
Over the past 10 days, some users have reported losing their list of calendar subscriptions in sogo (it appears in the left-hand pane of the sogo window, under the month calendar). It is not known how many people were affected. It is known that many/most people were not. CTS staff are looking into restoration of calendar subscription lists from database backups, but this will take at least several additional days. Manually re-subscribing to calendars works and at present is the recommended way to reconstruct calendar subscriptions. Doing this is straightforward. Instructions can be found in Section V (page 22) of the user guide found at http://www2.potsdam.edu/cts/pdf/SOGoCalendar.pdf.
Networking in Morey Hall will have a brief outage as a network component is rebooted to resolve slow network connectivity.
