Replication backlog has cleared and all systems should be operating normally.
A backlog in the process that replicates content to the production webspace is causing increased load on the campus webserver. This increased load is principally manifesting itself as increased load times and possible timeouts. Once the backlog has cleared, all systems should return to normal operation and an update will be posted here.
As of 19:21 all SUNY Potsdam Telephone services are working. Incoming calls to campus are completing and calls to off-campus locations nationwide are now completing.

SUNY Potsdam’s Telephone Service Outage has been resolved and all services have been restored.

A critical networking component experienced a system fault and required a reboot. Networking service outside of the Admin network (including Internet) was affected for approximately 3-4 minutes. At this time service should be fully restored.
All active email accounts have been moved off of the affected storage volume.
Progress moving user accounts to new storage volumes continues. Users are reminded that they can login to mailguard.potsdam.edu to view/re-send any messages sent to them within the last seven days from off-campus addresses.
Users should make no assumptions about ultimate delivery and receipt of email between 8AM and 2PM today. While every effort was made to queue all email, instability caused by the ongoing storage issues allowed for periods where the majority of mail sent to campus accounts (originating from both on-campus and off-campus) was indeed bounced. At this time it is safe to send messages. Important messages sent during the above window should be resent. Some users are still without email access as they are moved to a new storage volume, but mail to them will be queued for later delivery.
