There has been no power serving primary network facilities in Snell Hall for approximately five hours, exhausting battery power. No ETC at this time.
The scheduled Blackboard maintenance is complete. Blackboard should be generally available at this time.
On Wednesday, Feb. 17th Blackboard will be unavailable from 22:00 (10pm) to midnight in order to facilitate system maintenance.
On 2.16.10 (Tuesday) from 21:00 to 23:30 (9pm to 11:30pm) mailing list services provided by lists.potsdam.edu will be unavailable in order to facilitate system maintenance.
The mail queues are currently clear. Upon the discovery of any user responding to a phish email, that user will have his/her password immediately scrambled. For more information on phishing emails, please see http://www.potsdam.edu/cts/services/emailservice/phishing.cfm.
An inordinate number of phishing email replies has caused a backlog in the mail queues. While cleanup is in progress, sent mail will be queued for later delivery.
Bearmail will undergo a 2 (two) hour maintenance window this evening (1/20/10) starting at 20:00 (8 PM). Bearmail will be unavailable for the duration of the window.
Helios Maintenance window has ended, Helios home directories, shares, and web folders are available.
Helios will undergo a four (4) hour maintenance window beginning at 20:00 (8:00 PM) this evening. There will be no access to Helios home directories, shares, and web folders for the duration of the window.
