Status Announcements

Time Warner will be rebooting some routing equipment at 2AM Monday morning. Interruption of Internet connectivity is expected to last approximately ten minutes.

A malfunction in critical core network equipment segmented several portions of the campus, disrupting access to campus hosted services as well as Internet connectivity. The outage lasted approximately 60 minutes while the problem was isolated and equipment replaced.

Inter-Library Loan services (ILLiad) will be unavailable on 7.8.08 starting at 19:30 (7:30 pm) and lasting until 08:00 (8:00 am) on 7.9.08 in order to facilitate system maintenance.

Starting at 7:30 pm on July 1st, Inter-Library Loan services (illiad) will be unavailable until the following morning at 8 am due to system maintenance.

For the next hour, there will be moments of connectivity loss as data network cabling and pathing, that service various network segments including Internet1 and Internet2, are maintenanced.

CTS needed to move the VAX to Kellas this morning and ran into some unexpected problems which seem to be resolved now. Banner/BearPAWS/VAX printing now up.

A campus-wide power problem at 7:08am this morning damaged equipment protecting network electronics in Dunn Hall. A work-around is in place until the equipment can be replaced. All clear.
