Status Announcements

CTS is beginning network maintenance. Expect brief losses of network connectivity throughout the campus. An announcement will be made when work is complete.

The reset of the phone system has brought the emergency/Blue Light/RA phones back online.

The phone system reset is complete. If your desk phone is not working, please report it to the CTS Helpdesk via email: helpdesk@potsdam.edu or from another phone: 315-267-4444

CTS Technicians are about to reset the campus phone system. We will make another post when the process is complete.

CTS needs to reset the main phone system in an attempt to get the down emergency phones back online. We will perform this reset at 7:30 A. M. tomorrow, Wednesday December 6, 2017. All desk phones and devices connected to them will be offline for several minutes. We will post updates as we begin the process and when the reset is complete.

The replacement equipment is on campus and being installed by technicians.

The replacement equipment for the emergency and related phones that are currently offline is now scheduled to arrive no later than 10:30 A. M. Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5. Technicians will be on-hand to receive and install the equipment right away. Updates will be posted if there are any changes, and when service has been restored.

The Voice Mail system is back online. Users should again be able to dial in to retrieve their messages. If you are still unable to check your messages, please contact the CTS Helpdesk: helpdesk@potsdam.edu or 315-267-4444.

The campus Voice Mail system is currently offline. Technicians are aware of and investigating the problem.

The Helios File Server is back online.
