CTS Technicians are about to reset the campus phone system. We will make another post when the process is complete.
CTS needs to reset the main phone system in an attempt to get the down emergency phones back online. We will perform this reset at 7:30 A. M. tomorrow, Wednesday December 6, 2017. All desk phones and devices connected to them will be offline for several minutes. We will post updates as we begin the process and when the reset is complete.
The replacement equipment is on campus and being installed by technicians.
The replacement equipment for the emergency and related phones that are currently offline is now scheduled to arrive no later than 10:30 A. M. Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5. Technicians will be on-hand to receive and install the equipment right away. Updates will be posted if there are any changes, and when service has been restored.
The Voice Mail system is back online. Users should again be able to dial in to retrieve their messages. If you are still unable to check your messages, please contact the CTS Helpdesk: helpdesk@potsdam.edu or 315-267-4444.
The campus Voice Mail system is currently offline. Technicians are aware of and investigating the problem.
The Helios File Server is back online.
The Helios file server is down. Technicians are working on the problem.
Some office phones are still offline in the wake of this weekend’s network outage. Technicians are aware and are working to restore service to affected phones. This will be ongoing throughout the morning/day.
