CTS Announcements & System Status

All services offered by CTS have been restored. If you are still experiencing issues with any services of phones please contact the Helpdesk at x4444 or helpdesk@potsdam.edu

On 7/22/15 from midnight to 7am, SUNY ITEC is scheduled to perform maintenance that will affect one or more services hosted at ITEC. All production servers will be powered off for reboots and filesystem checks during this time. SUNY Potsdam services affected include both Banner and Degree Works. If you use other ITEC services you will be affected as noted above.

Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN is back up and has been tested after the upgrade to the Banner database to Oracle 12c. If you notice any problems, please submit an RT Ticket as soon as possible.

Upgrades to one of our servers may result in any of the following applications being unavailable for (hopefully) brief periods of time: Sibelius (Faculty), VectorWorks, Kurzweil, MathCAD, ArcGIS, Spartan. If you experience inability to use these or any other applications and that inability is affecting curriculum and/or your ability to work, please report it to the CTS Helpdesk: x-4444 or helpdesk@potsdam.edu. A follow-up posting will be made when this maintenance is complete. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN will be down tonight (ie. Wednesday morning) from 12:00am – 7:00am for ITEC maintenance (12:00am-5:00am) and power disruption(5:00am-7:00am).

Buffalo State has scheduled 2 maintenance windows that will disrupt power for ITEC and put them offline: Wed 7/15 and Fri 7/17 both 5:00am-7:00am

ITEC has scheduled OS and Firmware Updates to these systems on July 15 from 12:00am – 7:00am.
