The Campus is experiencing network traffic issues this morning. Access to any services, including phones, will be slow or non-responsive until the issue is corrected. Technicians are aware of the problem and are investigating.
As part of the effort to resolve problems with off-campus access to the Library’s electronic information services, a key piece of software will be updated at 7:15am on Thursday, April 16. The process should only take a few minutes, but during that time the Library’s information services will be inaccessible. Service will be restored by 7:45am at latest. This might not fix the off-campus access issues immediately, but it will at least allow CTS staff to better troubleshoot the problem.
The telephone service outages that occurred on 04/07-04/08/15 have ceased and most telephones are now in service and working. If access to the the telephone set itself was not available your service may not have been restored. If the telephone assigned to you is not working please email telcom@potsdam.edu or call x3003 and leave a message. We will send someone out to restore your service. The campus is currently experiencing sporadic issues with telephone service. Some network connectivity may also be affected. Technicians are working to manually reset phones and identify the root cause.

The network outage that occurred this morning on the second, third, and fourth floors of Raymond has been resolved. A reboot of your computer may be necessary to reconnect to the network. Please contact the Help Desk if you are still unable to connect to the network.
