Merritt Hall lost network and telephony services at approximately 7:43pm tonight. We are aware of the problem and working to restore services. Please check the network blog, http://blogs.potsdam.edu/network/ for updates. Thank you for your understanding while we work to restore services.
Beginning tomorrow morning at approximately 5:30 CTS will be replacing network electronics in the Barrington Student Union. During this outage all network and phone service will be unavailable. Only offices and rooms in the Union will be affected by this outage. This maintenance is expected to be completed by 7:00 A. M. CTS will post a status update when maintenance is complete.
All users should now be able to send email without problems.
Users are experiencing a delay or failure when attempting to send emails. CTS is investigating.
Maintenance is now confirmed complete.
BearPAWS appears to be responding, however we’ve still not received confirmation of 100% functionality.
It appears that SICAS has SUNY Potsdam’s instance of BearPAWS down for planned upgrades. Service is expected to be restored between 3 and 4pm today. We will post confirmation once it is available.
While the service indicates “up” (green status on the blog) it appears that bearpaws.potsdam.edu is not returning a page. An automated alert should be signaling an on-call engineer of this issue.
RT is now available.
