CTS Announcements & System Status

The main campus website is not responding. The issue is being investigated.

We are currently experiencing issues with SSL Certificates. This means access to certain websites housed by SUNY Potsdam are experiencing connection issues. Sites such as voicemail.potsdam.edu, piar.potsdam.edu, clear.potsdam.edu are affected. Technicians are aware of the issue and are working on a resolution.

Access to the SUNYCard website has been restored.

BearPAWS is now authenticating properly. Thank you!

Users of traditional e-mail clients can now send e-mail.

BearPAWS is not properly authenticating users at this time. CTS is aware of the issue and working toward resolving it.

Users of traditional e-mail clients (Mac OS Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) cannot send e-mail at this time. CTS is aware of the problem and working to resolve it. BearMail and SOGo’s mail interfaces are currently still able to send e-mail.

Network services including telephone, internet and wireless are currently down for most buildings within the academic quad. We are working on the problem and hope to have all services restored shortly. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to restore services.
