CTS continues to receive reports of problems indicative of our network operating in a degraded state. Technicians continue to investigate.

There was a “hiccup” in our Maple License Manager. It has been updated to include service to version 18 clients. Users may see a message about a time-expiring license which will expire sometime in September. The server will be updated before then, when we get an updated license from SUNY.
ITEC has scheduled a maintenance window from 4AM-7AM on 6/11/14 to migrate the SUNY-wide SPSS license. SUNY Potsdam SPSS clients will be unable to obtain a license during this window.
ITEC reports that services have been restored.
ITEC had some internal miscommunication and have just noted that all Banner campuses are down as well. This includes us. There is still no ETA for service restoration.
ITEC is experiencing an incident affecting multiple services. For us (SUNY Potsdam) this appears to include hosted off-campus services including, but possibly not limited to, BearPAWS & BearDen. ITEC has engaged outside vendors for assistance. ITEC has no ETA for resolution at this time.
Mailguard DB has been restored. SPAM is being filtered/blocked once again.
Email is back up but we are still experiencing issues with our SPAM filter database. This means that all users will see more SPAM in their email “inbox”. Techinicians are still working on the issue.
