ITEC will be upgrading the firmware on their network electronics in an effort to resolve the on again/off again availability problems with their services. ITEC services will be unavailable from 4am – 7am tomorrow, Friday Jan 23.
ITEC has resolved their firewall issue that we preventing access to several services.
Services hosted at ITEC, including Banner/BearPAWS are currently unreachable. From ITEC, “The firewall issue from a week ago has returned. ITEC Networking is on the phone with Cisco gathering data.” There is no ETA on restoration.
Access to Banner and BearPAWS has been restored.
Currently, Banner and BearPAWS are unreachable. We have contacted ITEC and they are working on the problem.
All Helios shares should be again operational.
There is currently an issue with Helios shares being unavailable. Technicians have been notified of the issue and are investigating.
This morning Banner & BearPAWS were working without issue, but there has been a recurrence of the previously identified storage problem which has caused our ITEC Banner tier to reboot, and caused another Banner/BearPAWS outage. We have received word from ITEC that they will be taking our Banner systems down for Emergency Maintenance between 4:00-5:00pm tonight.
Currently Banner and BearPAWS are experiencing intermittent problems due to storage array issues at our ITEC hosting site in Buffalo. We have no ETA as to when this problem will be resolved. Technicians at ITEC have called in vendors to resolve the issue. We will update this page when the problems are resolved.
