Banner/BearPAWS services have been restored.

Banner/BearPAWS are down due to problems with the Middle Tier. Technicians are working on the problem and it should be restored within a half hour.
There will be a scheduled outage of the network services listed below from 9am until approximately 3pm on Saturday March 23rd: Internet 1 Internet 2 Time Warner Road Runner Time Warner wireless Time Warner video services (a.k.a. cable TV) This full Internet outage will impact *_off-campus_* access to/from *_ALL_* network services, including email, campus web presence, etc. Any email sent during the window to/from off-campus addresses will be queued for later delivery. Network Services that should *_not_* be affected are: On campus network services (i.e. on-campus email, telephone, Bearpaws, Helios, Banner, calendar, printing, SUNYcard readers, etc.) Some priority services may return before 3pm.
Banner and BearPAWS are now available.
A system error has brought down Banner and BearPAWS this morning. Technicians are working on the problem. It should be resolved shortly.
A malfunctioning backend directory server was found to be the culprit of the earlier authentication issues. All services are back online.
Authentication issues affecting multiple services have been reported. Techs are looking into the issue.
System Engineers are currently working to resolve an issue with Helios backups, users may experience intermittent issues with _backup folders.
Starting at 22:00 this evening till 02:00 tomorrow morning, there will be rolling service outages affecting many CTS services. Affected services included but are not limited to moodle, helios, printing, windows domain logins, bearmail, mailing lists, & www2 services.
