Helios will undergo a two hour maintenance window beginning at 11:30 PM this evening, while it is migrated to new hardware. There will be no access to Helios home directories, shares, and web folders for the duration of the window.
The storage maintenance has completed and all queued mail is being delivered. It is expected that the backlog should clear well within the hour.
The campus mail server is undergoing emergency file system maintenance on one of its storage volumes. Those users on the affected volume will not be able to check their mail while this is taking place. Also no new mail to any users will be delivered, but will be queued for delivery once the maintenance is complete. Sending mail to off-campus addresses is not affected.
A critical piece of networking electronics serving the W@SP wireless network experienced a system fault and required a reboot. All network functionality should be restored at this point.
