CTS is receiving reports that users are having issues authenticating to the GlobalProtect VPN. Technicians are investigating the issue. An update will be posted here when the issue is resolved.
The print server has been rebooted and printing has returned to normal.
CTS is receiving reports of issues with printing. Technicians are rebooting the server (Lorax2).
IT is implementing a change to the authentication system. An update will be posted once the change has been completed.
The Banner issues were resolved around 8:30pm last evening once the downloading of the Apple iOS release cleared out.
Maintenance to our authentication systems is complete. All related services should be available. If you have trouble with your campus computer account username and password, please contact the CTS Helpdesk at 315-267-4444. If no one is available to answer, leave a message and your call will be returned.
Potsdam network is running extremely slow because of an Apple iOS release. Banner 9 might not load and will run extremely slow if it does.
CTS will be performing maintenance on systems that authenticate some services, most notably Office 365, tomorrow morning (10/31). Some services may not accept user passwords during this maintenance. A blog post will be made when maintenance is complete.
ITEC will be performing emergency maintenance on core network equipment starting 11/3/18 (Sat) at 10pm until Sun 6am. During this time we expect Banner/BearPAWS/BearDeN will be unavailable.
