Printing services have been restored.
Campus printing is currently unavailable. CTS is aware of the issue and is investigating.
The BI system issues have been resolved.
There is system-wide issue with Oracle Business Intelligence affecting campuses.
Per SUNY’s BI team:
“BI’s not responding/response times are diminished, we have identified the issue and we are currently working to fix it. We will let you know when it is fixed.
The issue with hosts having insecure connections have been resolved.
Known services with remaining issues are:
Calendar (legacy SOGo)
CTS continues to work on these systems and hopes to have them restored soon.
VPN access has been restored.
Some “utility” services used by a few administrative offices remain problematic.
An update to the outage yesterday:
Systems using federated services, such as access to SUNY services (HR Time Accounting) and most notability Office 365 are functional.
At this time, VPN is not available as well as various “utility” systems used by some administrative offices on campus.
Access to O365 has been restored. If you are still unable to access it, quit and restart your web browser.
Many essential services have been restored, including, but not limited to:
- Mailing lists
- SUNY Card
- RT (internal trouble-ticket system.)
O365 (web), BearDeN, HR/Some Federated Services have not yet been restored.
More services will continue to come on-line and we will post an update or resolution of this issue when more information is known.
