Our Internet Service Provider is currently experiencing problems, which has been, and may continue to impact Internet access on-campus, as well as off-campus access to on-campus services.
There will be a five hour window this evening 2009-12-22, from 7PM until 12AM, during which most CTS services will experience rolling outages. This is to accommodate the relocation of critical equipment and infrastructure.
TimeWarner technicians will be shutting off Internet, Internet2 and RoadRunner University to perform necessary maintenance shortly. There is no ETC for this.
It was reported that users’ Helios Home Directories were not auto-mounting at user login. The problem has been rectified and Home Directory should appear on the user desktop after login again.
Helios experienced a system anomaly and required a reboot to regain normal operation. All systems should be functioning normally at this time.

Telephone services incoming and outgoing were restored at 19:16 on 12/09/09.
The circuits that provide campus incoming/outgoing telephone calls are down. Outgoing calls may work but are very limited. Incoming calls do not work at all. The vendor has been notified and their technicians have been dispatched. We currently have no estimate when the service will be restored. Updates will be posted as we receive them.
The MeetingerMaker calendar service will experience a series of interruptions beginning at 10:00PM, and lasting upwards of an hour.
