[ANNOUNCE] SPSS License Server Maintenance
ITEC has scheduled a maintenance window from 4AM-7AM on 6/11/14 to migrate the SUNY-wide SPSS license. SUNY Potsdam SPSS clients will be unable to obtain a license during this window.

ITEC reports that services have been restored.
ITEC had some internal miscommunication and have just noted that all Banner campuses are down as well. This includes us. There is still no ETA for service restoration.
ITEC is experiencing an incident affecting multiple services. For us (SUNY Potsdam) this appears to include hosted off-campus services including, but possibly not limited to, BearPAWS & BearDen. ITEC has engaged outside vendors for assistance. ITEC has no ETA for resolution at this time.
Mailguard DB has been restored. SPAM is being filtered/blocked once again.
Email is back up but we are still experiencing issues with our SPAM filter database. This means that all users will see more SPAM in their email “inbox”. Techinicians are still working on the issue.
We are currently experiencing issues with one of our database servers. The main service affected is Mailguard. This means that Email is currently down. Technicians are aware and working on resolving the issue.
Catastrophic failure of a Moodle-supporting database resulted in technicians having to restore that database from its latest nightly backup. Work entered and/or completed on Monday, May 5th, 2014 has been lost.
Internet connection with our Internet Service Provider has been restored.
The Campus is experiencing network anomalies potentially related to problems being experienced by our Internet Service Provider. We continue to monitor the situation and coordinate with our provider.
