Correction on AIS systems downtime – that’s Friday October 30th no the 29th.
The following AIS Services will be taken off-line for Maintenance at 5:00pm Friday October 29: Banner, BearPAWS, and HR Time Accounting. Services should be restored by 9:00pm at the latest.
All user-facing systems should be back on-line.
An electrical power problem in the main datacenter has caused critical systems to shut down. Technicians are working to resolve the outages.
Remaining Blackboard problems are believed to be resolved at this time.
Banner/BearPAWS/HR Time Acct will be off-line beginning at 6:00pm Tuesday evening for scheduled maintenance. These services should be restored by 10:00pm at the latest.
Some remaining issues have been discovered with the Blackboard application. Technicians are aware of the problem and are working with the vendor.
Blackboard is now once again functional.
One of the email storage volumes did not come back up properly. Users on this volume would not have been able to login to email since the power outage, and all mail destined for these users has been queued. The volume has been restored and mail is being delivered.
